In Memory of Jimmy “Pa” Downey
A Dedicated Member of the Woodford County Fair Family
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jimmy Downey, affectionately known as “Pa,” a faithful volunteer and cherished member of our Woodford County Fair family.
For years, Pa could be found behind the grill, generously giving his time through the heat and long hours. His service extended far beyond cooking. He was a true team player who could always be counted on. Whenever the fair ran short of any supplies, he would pick up whatever was needed at a moment’s notice—without a single complaint.
We are deeply grateful for Pa’s service and for the legacy of kindness, dependability, and dedication he leaves behind. Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
