Today, our nation celebrates 250 years of freedom, courage, and the enduring spirit that makes the United States extraordinary.

As we celebrate this historic Independence Day, we're reminded of the unforgettable moments we shared together at the 2026 Vero Beach Air Show. This year, we had the privilege of helping kick off America's 250th birthday celebration with an incredible weekend that honored our military, celebrated aviation, and brought our community together beneath the red, white, and blue.

The roar of the aircraft, the precision of our performers, and the pride felt by thousands of spectators were all a tribute to the men and women who have defended our freedoms for generations.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this milestone. Today, we honor our nation's past, celebrate the freedoms we enjoy today, and look forward with pride to America's future.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for the souls we have lost in defense of our country. We honor the service members who never made it home and reflect on the profound sacrifice made by them and their families so that we may live free.

This time last Friday, we were just beginning to experience one of the most unforgettable moments of the 2026 Vero Beach Air Show. The incredible fireworks extravaganza by Explosive Touch Enterprises lit up the night sky over Vero Beach in spectacular fashion.

Captured beautifully by the talented Matt Haskell, this stunning image features the fireworks exploding behind a U.S. Navy Blue Angels Super Hornet, perfectly showcasing the energy, patriotism, and sheer spectacle of the evening. It is one of those rare images that truly captures the feeling of standing on the flightline surrounded by thousands of fans looking skyward in amazement.

On behalf of the Vero Beach Air Show and the logistics team, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office for their continued support and partnership.

A special shout-out goes to Sheriff Eric Flowers, Deputy Chief Campbell, and the corrections team, including Deputies Feliciano and Salazar, for answering the call and stepping up to assist with the airshow takedown operations. Your professionalism, teamwork, and dedication behind the scenes help keep an event of this scale running smoothly from takeoff to final touchdown ✈️

The inaugural Vero Beach Air Show Run was nothing short of unforgettable. From the stunning course to the breathtaking sunrise over the jets, this morning delivered a one-of-a-kind experience for every runner and spectator. The energy, excitement, and beautiful setting made for the perfect start to an amazing Showday Sunday!
