Today we finally get to say it… The Wilbarger is complete.

Well… almost 😉
We still have our branding going onto the windows, but to stand back and look at what this building has become is something hard to put into words. What started as a vision turned into one of the biggest blessings of our lives.

This project would have never happened without the people that poured their time, talent, hard work, sweat, and belief into it. Every wall, light, floor, pipe, brush stroke, and detail has a story behind it.

Vernon we are so excited to have Phil Hamilton in the house May 2nd and it just got even better… his wife will be joining him and she is AMAZING 🙌🙌🙌 Getting to hear them together is something you do not want to miss.

🎤 Y’all showed UP on those band suggestions — and I love it.

Seriously, thank you. We’ve had everything from local favorites to some BIG names thrown out there… and it’s got me excited about what we can bring to The Wilbarger 🙌🏼

I did a little digging on some of the artists mentioned — just to see what it actually takes to bring them in — and I want to share a little insight so everyone kind of understands how this works.

Booking live music isn’t just “pay the band and go.”
There’s artist fees, travel, lodging, production, staffing, security… it adds up quick.

Some of the artists suggested can cost anywhere from several thousand to well into five figures for one night.

And while we would LOVE to bring in every single one of them, we also have to make sure events make sense on our end so we can keep doing this long term.

That said — some of y’all gave GREAT, realistic suggestions 👏🏼
The kind of artists that fit our space, our crowd, and what we’re building here.

And that’s exactly what we’re working toward —
👉 good music
👉 great atmosphere
👉 something Vernon doesn’t have to leave town for

We’re building this one event at a time, and your feedback truly helps us shape what’s next.

I’m so lucky to call this man a friend. He has been a singer songwriter for 18 years. He has turned his life over to God and got sober. He has a wonderful wife and beautiful daughter. I can’t express how talented he is. It’s going to be such a great show.
