👑 Meet Your 2026 Festival of the Fish Junior Miss and Junior Mister! 👑

The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce your 2026 Festival of the Fish Junior Miss, Paislyn Brown, and Junior Mister, Caiden Stafford!

Paislyn Brown is 9 years old and will be entering 4th grade at Sailorway Middle School. She enjoys playing soccer and riding horses for fun. She spends much of her time participating in flag football, studying her Bible, and attending camps at Beulah Beach with her friends. Paislyn is a happy, bubbly person who is excited to serve as your new Junior Miss. She hopes to empower other girls by becoming a pageant director. She wants to better understand the position and responsibilities it takes to be a good leader. She believes holding this title will give her opportunities to grow personally while encouraging and inspiring other girls in the future.

Caiden Stafford is 9 years old and will be entering 4th grade at Sailorway Middle School. He enjoys playing video games with his friends. Each year, he participates in baseball, football, and basketball. He enjoys being involved in sports with his friends. Science is Caiden’s favorite subject. When he grows up, he wants to become a scientist. He is excited to rejoin the Vermilion Royalty Court as your new Junior Mister. A few years ago, Caiden was our Little Mister Guppy and is happy to once again experience being Vermilion royalty.

Congratulations to Paislyn and Caiden on being crowned at the 2026 Festival of the Fish! We wish them a wonderful year representing the Festival and the Vermilion community.

The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and the Festival of the Fish Committee are incredibly honored and grateful to receive this special proclamation from the Ohio Senate recognizing the 60th Anniversary of the Vermilion Festival of the Fish.

To be recognized by the Ohio General Assembly is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the countless volunteers, committee members, sponsors, businesses, city departments, public safety personnel, entertainers, vendors, and community members who have helped make this festival a success for six decades.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ohio Senate President Robert McColley and Senate Majority Floor Leader Theresa Gavarone for this thoughtful recognition and for honoring the Festival of the Fish and our community.

This proclamation belongs to everyone who has been part of the Festival of the Fish throughout the years. We are proud of our tradition, proud of our community, and look forward to continuing this legacy for generations to come.

The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce our 2026 Festival of the Fish royalty, Miss Vermilion Princess Sabrina Dvorscak and Mister Vermilion Prince Owen Kruse! Throughout the coming year, Sabrina and Owen will represent our community at local events, festivals, and special appearances. We hope you’ll take a moment to get to know them!

Princess Sabrina Dvorscak

My name is Sabrina Dvorscak. I am 13 years old, and I am going into my freshman year at Vermilion High School. My goal for the future is to get into a good college and become a pediatrician. A few things I enjoy are playing sports, musical theater, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends. I’m excited to be a role model for this town because I want to help make this town better and welcome more people into our community.

Mister Vermilion Prince Owen Kruse

Hello, my name is Owen Kruse, and I am excited and honored to be your 2026 Festival of the Fish Mister Vermilion Prince. I am 13 years old and going into the 8th grade at Vermilion High School. My academic performance and success are highly important to me, as well as my passion for the arts. My family and I are massive movie and horror buffs who travel to comic conventions to connect with industry professionals and discuss pathways to achieving my dream of becoming a horror actor. As your Mister Vermilion Prince, I am passionate about being a role model to show my peers and our youth that community engagement is deeply rewarding. I want to demonstrate that achieving balance through academic excellence, strong character, athletics, and active service is well within their reach.

A standing ovation to Road Adventures by Mark Wahlberg!

Have you seen this incredible luxury motorhome? This wasn’t just an RV, it was a fully equipped mobile hospitality suite that served as the official Entertainment Dressing Room for our performers during the 60th Annual Festival of the Fish!

From air conditioning and comfortable seating to a private space for artists to relax and prepare before taking the stage, this amazing coach made our entertainers feel like VIPs.

Summer is 16 years old and a senior at Vermilion High School. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in education or business, with dreams of one day becoming a teacher or a CEO.

When she’s not in school, Summer enjoys painting, acting, volunteering in our community, and spending time with family and friends.

As our 2026 Festival of the Fish Queen, Summer is proud to represent Vermilion and looks forward to encouraging kindness, community involvement, and hometown pride wherever she goes.

Sixty years. Think about that for a moment.

For one weekend each June, Vermilion comes together to celebrate what makes our community so special…friends, family, neighbors, visitors, businesses, volunteers, sponsors, entertainers, vendors, public safety personnel, and countless people working behind the scenes to create something memorable.

As we reflect on the 60th Annual Festival of the Fish, our hearts are full of gratitude.

Thank you to our sponsors whose generosity helps make this event possible year after year. Thank you to our volunteers and committee members who dedicate countless hours before, during, and after the festival. Thank you to our city departments, safety forces, vendors, entertainers, and community partners who help keep everything running smoothly. And thank you to everyone who attended, supported local businesses, enjoyed the festivities, and created memories with us this weekend.

From fireworks over Lake Erie and the Lighted Boat Parade, to the parade, sandcastle contest, Crazy Craft Regatta, live entertainment, family activities, and all the traditions that make Festival of the Fish uniquely Vermilion…this celebration belongs to all of you.
