Derby Day Bourbon Challenge

Derby Day Bourbon Challenge Join Billy O’s and our sponsor Woodford Reserve, as we find out which local bartender makes the best craft bourbon cocktail.

Drink specials, live horse racing and the best bartenders in town will
all be at Billy O’s
Saturday May 3rd beginning at 3pm. Individual entry fee is $15 for bartenders
Restaurant sponsorship of bartenders (up to 3 contestants and a reserved booth) $50
Contest is open to all local (Ventura) bartenders. Local celebrity judges will be on hand to determine through craft and creativity which bartender‘s cocktail best represents the Woodford Reserve bourbon. Spirits industry representatives, journalists and writers will be in attendance. This bourbon challenge is the first in a series of spirits competitions to determine Ventura County’s bartending elite.
