JEDi Communications, LLC is a multi-involved entertainment company that includes JEDi Entertainment, WeCreate Music Publishing, Tortoise Records, StudiOne Productions and Rizwan Productions. Joe Doss, Founder and President of JEDi Communications also serves as the Motown Alumni Association’s Chapter Director for the State of Florida. JEDi Communications initially formed as a live sound support and production company called StudiOne for local acts, primarily gospel, in the Midwest. Notable artists were Ethel Holloway, The Ware Sisters, The Voices of Inspiration Gospel Choir, Parliament recording artists Rapture 7 and Pauli Carman of Champaign. StudiOne also provided sound support for the Tri-State Mass Choir featuring gospel great Ricky Dillard. Ricky’s music director was Rickey Minor who also worked as musical director and band leader for Jay Leno’s Tonight Show, American Idol, and many musical superstars. JEDi Communications created the marketing strategy that landed Rapture 7 the NUMBER ONE spot in Billboards top downloaded internet songs when downloading was in its infancy stages. JEDi Communications is proud most proud of has been our lead role in introducing the performing arts to inner city youth and prison populations in the Southern Illinois area. JEDi Communications is actively involved in developing and promoting live entertainment events worldwide through its event and concert division, JEDi Entertainment.
