JEDi Entertainment PRESENTS Street Corner Renaissance in Concert
Venice, Fl – August 10, 2022. Street Corner Renaissance will be performing one show at the Venice Community Center, 326 Nokomis Avenue S., Venice, FL on Friday, September 30th at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:00 pm.
Street Corner Renaissance is a 5 member acapella singing group that formed to fulfill their lifelong dream. The self-proclaimed “New Jack Seniors” will be singing songs of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. A must-see concert for those who grew up listening to Motown music and all the great songs or that era!
Since bursting on the scene following their performance on NBC’s SING-OFF as Season 4 contestants, Street Corner Renaissance have performed around the world and worked with some of the greats in American entertainment. The list includes opening for Jay Leno, The Temptations, Kool and the Gang, Boyz II Men, Chuck Berry, the Chi-Lites, Morris Day and the Time, Jerry Butler and the Impressions, the Jeff Lorber Fusion Band, and Take 6.
They have also shared the stage with such greats as Stevie Wonder, Nancy Wilson, Kenny Burrell, Patty Austin, Dianne Reeves, The Might Clouds of Joy, Third World, Millie Jackson, The Emotions, Denise Williams, Hubert Laws, and many others.
Music Director and member, Maurice Kitchen, recently performed on the Temptations latest album “60”. The album featured songs written, produced and performed by Motown Legends Otis Williams and Smokey Robinson.
