This is a big moment for our island arts community. 💃🩰

We’re excited to share that **Vashon Dance Company** will be participating in the 32nd annual **Dance Festival Northwest**, hosted this year by the Southwest Washington Dance Center on Saturday, March 21 in Centralia.

This festival brings together dance companies from across the Pacific Northwest for a shared experience that blends professional development with performance. Dancers train together in master classes, then take the stage to present work representing a wide range of styles, from classical ballet on pointe to modern, jazz, tap, ballroom, and hip hop. It’s both collaborative and celebratory, and it showcases the depth of talent that exists throughout our region.

Seeing a Vashon-based company included alongside established studios from Olympia, Seattle, Renton, Port Townsend, and beyond is something our whole community can take pride in. It reflects years of commitment, discipline, and creative leadership, and it puts Vashon on a regional stage in a meaningful way.
