Instructions for Pre-Registered Cyclists - this has been sent via email 2x but here it is again just in case you missed it π
Check-in is at the Vandalia Sports Complex (1111 Stonequarry Road Vandalia, OH 45377). Just follow the BLUE SIGNS or ask one of our friendly staff for assistance. At check-in you can always expect:

After you check-in (all done electronic) we will direct you to the following:

Restrooms
Maps
Any other questions
SAG Support will be provided by our friendly volunteers and all needed phone numbers are on our maps including lunch time. Our delicious lunch will be served from 10:45am - 2pm so please make sure to gauge your time out on the road. Specific information for each route is listed below. Route maps are available on our website in a variety of formats. FYI - conversions to some other formats (GPS as example) will be up to you as we've had countless issues with conversion errors in the past and we want to make sure you have the best possible information and experience. Roads are VERY WELL MARKED by our team that does it every year. Look for the round OPTIMIST CLUB LOGO painted on the road in white. When appropriate, our police department will be at key intersections to assist.
MINOR ROUTE CHANGE FOR 2025 - 50K AND 100K ONLY:
- As you conclude the event and are coming back into the City of Vandalia, please do NOT turn by the Shell Station/Vandalia McDonalds (Ranchview Drive). Stay on US40 which takes you through downtown Vandalia (aka Main Street) and then turn left/south on Dixie Drive (major intersection with light). Once on Dixie the rest of the route conclusion is the same as in years past. All this is clearly shown on our map and other resources but we thought it would be important to let you know of this change - changes were made based on construction issues in town).
Route #1 20K (12.5 miles)
- includes 1 rest stop, shirt, water bottle, wrist band & lunch
- check-in begins at 6:30am/20K Route has a fixed start time of 9am - please do your best to start at 9am. It is NOT a mass start.
Route #2 50K (31 miles)
- includes 2 rest stops, shirt, water bottle, wrist band & lunch
- check-in begins at 6:30am/cyclists can leave by 7:00am and are encourage to leave no later than 10:00am
Route #3 100K (62 miles)
- includes 4 rest stops, shirt, water bottle, wrist band & lunch
- check-in begins at 6:30am/cyclists can leave by 7:00am and are encourage to leave no later than 8:30am
