Woot woot! Yesterday afternoon I finally finished the first draft of the next Hometown Hardware mystery.
This has been a long slog with all kinds of life getting in the way of writing, so I'm delighted to reach the end. It still needs a ton of work, but I love the editing phase. That's when I get to dig in, give the story life, and make sure everything works and the mystery comes together.
This one takes place during a cold and snowy February. The whole town has cabin fever, so nearly everyone turns out for the annual Winter Carnival and Spaghetti Feed at the high school.
