This Sat, June 23rd is the 10th Annual Hammer Velo Crit, amazing to me that it has been 10 years of putting this race onā¦..Weather looks to be perfectā¦78 and sunā¦
Just wanted to thank everyone, for the years of support, from OBRA, Team Sponsors, Mates and Friendsā¦.
ONE Last Minute CHANGE to our Flier and Race Catsā¦.. we ADDED to the Masters race a 40 3/4/5ā¦ā¦ so there well be 40,50,60 plus in that race, ONLY 3/4/5 allowedā¦.This well give Masters racers just one more option to raceā¦.
We still have the open Masters 1.2,3 race as wellā¦.. I think next year we well drop the Cat 5 race and add another Masters race since the Cat 5 race gets very little attendanceā¦But for this year the only way we can add you 40 plus guys in was to another raceā¦So spread the wordā¦.. New Flier has been sent to OBRA to change for registrationā¦.so be patient : ) it should be opened to register for this new Cat later today I hopeā¦.
Prizes and Primes well be flowing as always at this years event, as you all know we give away a lot of stuff and the Infamous HV Sledge Hammer to all Winnersā¦.

Last But SURELY Not Leastā¦. In the past year or so there has been several instances of some inappropriate things happen at races as far as women feeling uncomfortable, intimidated and feeling their space of protection be violated at OBRA events where they should feel safeā¦..SO, I just want to say, we WELL have a ZERO Tolerance Policy for any of this kind of behaviorā¦.If you feel the need to touch, hound, stalk, say things that should not be said in anyway, then I Highly Suggest you stay awayā¦.The Women of OBRA have been huge supporters of the HV Crit for years, and I well personally take it upon myself to make sure they feel our race and venue is a fun ,safe place to come race, hang out, without any harassmentā¦..NUFF saidā¦...
