Welcome to the Combat Flying Contest & Swap Meet for RC Airplanes!
Join us at Wheeler Flying Field for a day filled with thrilling aerial battles and opportunities to buy, sell and trade RC Airplanes and airplane parts.
Whether you’re a seasoned pilot or just starting out, this event is perfect for all enthusiasts. Watch as skilled pilots showcase their flying skills in intense combat competitions, and browse through a variety of airplanes at the swap meet.
Don’t miss out on this exciting event! Come Out and Watch a Combat Flying Contest as the Sundowners Club Pilots Compete for the winner.

Enjoy the Comradery of fellow airplane enthusiasts and experts.

Take your turn at flying one of the planes, and find out what it’s like to be a member of the Midwest Sundowners RC Flying Club.

Landing Fee will be $15 for pilots, $15 for Swap Set and Spectators are
FREE:
Trainer Flights at 11:30 – 12:30
There is a public raffle prize and a Pilot Participation prize.
The Swap Meet features used Planes and Parts.

Calling All Family Arts & Crafts Exhibitors!

We are back this year, in a new location, but we are back! Books have officially been mailed to our 2024 Family Arts & Crafts exhibitors for the 2026 Lake County Fair season!

IMPORTANT ENTRY DEADLINE:
Entry forms and the $20 exhibitor fee must be received in the Secretary’s Office (located in front of the Family Arts Building) NO LATER than 4:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2026.

Entries may also be mailed, but they MUST be postmarked by July 17, 2026 to be accepted.

We can’t wait to see all of the incredible creativity showcased at the 2026 Lake County Fair!
