Over Labor Day weekend, Lead East held their 44th Annual "Good Vibrations" weekend. It was held at the Hilton in Parsippany, New Jersey. This was the first time that I attended. I was there Saturday - Sunday. Throughout the afternoon Re-Member then strolled throughout the hotel and parking lot serenading. There was open Karaoke and on the outside stage the Supremes review a tribute to the ladies of Motown. On the Karaoke stage Deborah Rennard (Star Of Dallas) and Al Sapienza (Star of The Sopranos) performed. At 7:30 P.M. I attended Doo W*p night in the main ballroom, Memories music opened the show with the Doo W*p Project headlining, Hosted By Alan David Stein. After the show on the outdoor stage Bill Haley Jr. & The Comets had the audience on their feet Shakin', Rattlin' and Rollin'.
I hope to get invited back next year, so much to see and do. My thanks to Fred Wolf, Jim Durkin and the great staff of Lead East.
