HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Cherry County Rodeo Queen, Calie Troyer!

“She’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she IS the moment!” 😂❤️

And while we can definitely confirm that Calie is a whole lot of fun, there is so much more to the young woman wearing our Queen crown….. Calie is a leader. She’s a mentor. She’s the kind of young woman who leads by example and gives the girls around her someone worth looking up to. She carries herself with confidence and kindness, works hard, shows up for others, and understands that being a rodeo queen is about so much more than a crown and sash!

We have enjoyed watching her represent Cherry County Rodeo Royalty, but we’ve loved just as much watching the way she encourages our younger royalty, makes memories with them, and shows them what it looks like to be a strong cowgirl and a good human.

Of course, she also keeps us laughing and makes just about everything more fun along the way!!

Calie, we hope your birthday is every bit as wonderful as you are, and that this next year brings you new adventures, great horses, big dreams, and more memories than you can count!!!!

Our Cherry County Rodeo Sweetheart, Tenley, was spotted up in Rapid City at the South Dakota Reined Cowhorse Youth Boxing- where she got second!!! She had to complete a reining pattern and then box (hold) a cow for 50 seconds!
We are so proud of this versatile cowgirl, and thankful to have her as one of our representatives and part of this program! ❤️

What a fun weekend at the Mid-Plains College Rodeo in Sutherland!

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to the Velvet Spurs and especially Mickey Madison for allowing us girls to use her horse, Gunner! We are so grateful for your generosity and for helping make the weekend so much more special.

Fun fact about Gunner: my cousin Bailey used to own him, so getting to see him every day growing up and then have the opportunity to borrow him for the rodeo was such a full-circle moment! 🥹❤️ As usual, Gunner was still as spunky as ever, but he knows how to get the job done when it matters!

It’s opportunities and people like this that make the rodeo community so special. Thank you for letting us make some more memories with Gunner!

I want to take a moment to support a young entrepreneur! 🤍
A family friend of mine is only 15 years old, and he has started his own clothing business with a purpose that goes far beyond simply selling clothes. His goal is to share the Gospel, spread God’s Word, and encourage others through what he creates.
You don’t see many 15-year-olds setting out to make this kind of difference in the world, and I am so proud to see the younger generation chasing their dreams, using their talents, and standing behind something they believe in.
In a world that can always use a little more faith, kindness, and hope, I love seeing a young person use his business as a way to share exactly that.
I would love for you all to take a look at his small business and consider supporting him as he continues to grow and share his message. Every order, share, and word of encouragement means more than you know!
Check out the link below and support this young entrepreneur and his mission! 🤍✝️
Let’s continue to encourage the next generation to chase their dreams and make a difference along the way.

Today, we celebrate the cowgirls!!

Being a cowgirl is about far more than boots, hats, and horses. It’s early mornings and long days. It’s learning to do the job that needs done, taking care of what depends on you, getting back on when things don’t go as planned, and carrying forward a way of life built by generations before us.

Here at Cherry County Rodeo Royalty, we don’t have to look very far to find three wonderful examples.

Our Queen, Calie Troyer, our Princess, Breeya Bergman, and our Sweetheart, Tenley Ostrander, each bring something uniquely their own to what it means to be a cowgirl!! Through their horsemanship, hard work, willingness to serve, love of rodeo, and the way they represent Cherry County wherever they go, we are incredibly proud of the cowgirls behind the crowns.

Today we celebrate Calie, Breeya, and Tenley, along with every little girl learning the ropes, every young woman finding her place in the western world, and every seasoned cowgirl who has helped pave the way for the ones coming behind her.

Happy National Day of the Cowgirl from Cherry County Rodeo Royalty!!!

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Remember. 🇺🇸

25 years later, we continue to remember the lives forever changed on September 11, 2001.

On that morning, our nation was attacked when terrorists hijacked four airplanes. Two planes struck the World Trade Center in New York City, another struck the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers and crew fought back. Nearly 3,000 innocent people lost their lives, including first responders who ran toward danger to help others.

Last night, I watched the drone monument in remembrance of September 11. Seeing the story of that day honored through the lights in the sky was a beautiful reminder that although the years pass, we must never forget the lives, families, heroes, and sacrifices connected to that day.

This morning, my family raised our American flag high on the crane in remembrance of every life lost and every hero who answered the call.

The flag flying above us represents so much more than a piece of fabric. It represents freedom, sacrifice, courage, and the people who have given so much to protect our country and the freedoms we are blessed to have today.

Today, we remember.
We honor.
And we will never forget. 🇺🇸

There’s just something special about winning a buckle!

For our Cherry County Rodeo Royalty, these buckles aren’t simply something they win on pageant day. They’re worn to rodeos, parades, appearances, and events throughout their year, becoming part of the memories they make while representing our program.

This year, we are so thankful for the businesses who stepped up to sponsor these buckles for our royalty:

Calie’s Queen Buckle • Speedee Mart
Breeya’s Princess Buckle • Schumacher Veterinary Clinic
Tenley’s Sweetheart Buckle • Scotty’s Ranchland Foods

When a local business sponsors something like a buckle, they’re doing more than purchasing an award. They’re investing in these young women, in our program, and in keeping rodeo and western traditions strong for the next generation.

We simply couldn’t give our girls the experience we do without people and businesses willing to come alongside us.

Thank you, Speedee Mart, Schumacher Veterinary Clinic, and Scotty’s Ranchland Foods, for believing in Cherry County Rodeo Royalty and helping us give our girls something they’ll be proud to wear all year long. ❤️

Contact us so you too can be a part of Cherry County Rodeo Royalty.

We are so thankful to have Sandhills Sorrel as one of our premium sponsors! ❤️

Their support of Cherry County Rodeo Royalty goes far beyond financial sponsorship. They continually come alongside our program with their time, talents, and support, truly being boots on the ground when we need them.

Sponsors like Sandhills Sorrel LLC don’t just help make our program possible, they become a part of it. We are incredibly grateful to have them in our corner!

Back in July, we had the honor of sponsoring some of our favorite rodeo royalty — Cherry County Rodeo Royalty ! 👑🤠

You can find these gals representing the western way of life at rodeos all across Nebraska, and we were so dang excited to be a small part of their year!

Working with Brittany was an absolute blast as we dreamed up unique category prizes and some seriously fun bags for the winning royalty. We LOVE getting the chance to create pieces that are a little different, a little western, and made specifically for your event. ✨

Have an upcoming rodeo, queen contest, jackpot, banquet, fundraiser, or event that needs some dang cool prizes?! LET US HELP! 🙌

We have sooo many ideas just waiting for an excuse to come to life — custom, branded, personalized, and anything but boring. 😉🔥

Shoot us a message and let’s make your next awards table one everyone talks about!

Happy Labor Day from Cherry County Rodeo Royalty!

We all know Labor Day as the unofficial end of summer, but do you know why we celebrate it?

Labor Day began during the late 1800s, at a time when many Americans worked long hours, seven days a week, often in difficult and unsafe conditions. The growing labor movement pushed for better treatment of American workers, and in 1894, Labor Day officially became a federal holiday honoring the contributions workers have made to the strength and prosperity of our country.

More than 130 years later, it is still a day worth remembering.

Here in Cherry County and across rural America, we see the value of hard work every day. We see it in ranchers checking cattle before sunrise, farmers putting in long days, linemen working through storms, teachers preparing classrooms, nurses caring for their communities, small business owners keeping their doors open, truck drivers keeping America moving, and countless others whose work often happens quietly behind the scenes.

Our country was built, and continues to be sustained, by people willing to work.

So today, while we enjoy the long weekend, we also celebrate the hands, hearts, and hard work behind the communities we call home!
