As former Sheriffs' Deputies, we began the Santa Clarita Auto Fair Display Lot and website in 1999. We saw the need for a safe, legal and mutual meeting place where buyers and sellers could meet WITHOUT opening their homes to strangers. The Santa Clarita Auto Fair was established in February 1999, to create a safe and legal place where “private-party” vehicle sellers could display their cars, truc

ks, boats, motorcycles and RV’s and have them inspected by hundreds of potential buyers each weekend. The “Community Display Lot” not only helps clean-up city streets and vacant lots of abandoned for-sale vehicles, but accommodates those who are uncomfortable about opening their homes to strangers when trying to sell their vehicle. Cars, Trucks, Boats, RV's and Motorcycles all on display and for-sale-by-owner. All vehicles are privately owned and all sales are between buyers and sellers only. Free admission for general public. Peruse the ever-changing inventory of privately owned vehicles every weekend at the College of the Canyons parking lot. "Where Buyers and Sellers Come Together". The Auto Fair provides 24-hour security. Sellers may drop-off their vehicles for the entire weekend and carry on their own weekend activities. Management contacts the vehicle sellers when there is an interested party who would like to take the vehicle on a test drive. However, if a deal is struck, they will provide and assist the two private- parties in completing all necessary DMV paperwork. They also have Kelley Blue books on hand and provide cell phones for interested buyers to contact sellers. The Santa Clarita Auto Fair is located in the upper parking lot of College of the Canyons inValencia. The lot is located on Rockwell Canyon Rd, half way between Valencia Blvd and McBeanParkway at University Center Drive. Hours are every Friday from 4 to 9p.m., Saturday 7a.m. to 7p.m.and Sunday from 7a.m. to 4p.m.

The car is accessible to buyers for evaluation, check motor, etc. you will get calls for test drives and offers. I post a print out of Kelly Bluebook which cuts down on low-ball offers. Most cars we've sold the first weekend, luxury cars usually by 2nd weekend. Great service for buyers & sellers!”
