King of the Mountain Volleyball Annual Vail "King of the Mountain" Open is the oldest beach doubles volleyball tournament in Colorado. Colorado's Oldest Beach Doubles Volleyball Tournament.

It's a "Family Affair" with something for eveyone in the family: juniors, adults, co-ed, and special Father/Son Father/Daughter divisions. It is the most comprehensive tourney in the United States with 28 divisions of play including juniors, co-ed, men's and women's open, A, BB, & B divisions and special Father's Day Events -- Father/Son and Father/Daughter.

Wow and Thank You!!! King of the Mountain signups have crashed the AVP servers twice today, but the 3rd time, it worked....mostly. All signups for Vail are at AVP.com. Couple items: 1) a SILVER Level AVP Membership will be required (all your results are now tracked, you get a national ranking, grand prix points and prizes, and you also get a little supplemental insurance). 2) they are still working out some issues. If your payment is accepted, YOU ARE REGISTERED, but it is not all displaying correctly so give us a day. We have plenty of space in all divisions. To sign up, visit AVP.com. Become a member. Click on REGISTRATION under the COMPETE Drop Down menu, log in and sign up.

King of the Mountain Registration will be opening today and we are confirmed for 3.30 pm. We have been working with the AVP on a new registration/payment system and all systems were go for a noon launch and at 11.59, the server got super grumpy on us! Had is up and we crashed it again at 2pm. They added another servers and some more storage and our fingers are crossed. Grass space is ample, so you will get in. Sand space is limited but will be filled based on the VOTR Entry Heirarchy, so you have time there as well. We will either have the new system online today, or revert to the "old" AVP Americal platform tomorrow. Sorry. Bear with us....and don't stress...we have nets for everyone! PS..you will need the Silver AVP Membership to access registration.

2020 Update: It's official, The Town of Vail will not be hosting any events in the Summer of 2020. The King of the Mountain Volleyball tournament 2020 has been postponed until 2021. We will see you all in 2021!!
