Last week Bavaria, this week we're heading a little further east.

Texas Polish roots run deeper than most folks realize — Panna Maria, about two hours from here, is the oldest Polish settlement in America. Hearty, honest, cold-weather food. Exactly what October asks for.

So we're serving up pierogis, simmering a big pot of bigos, and have a sernik in the oven that'll ruin regular cheesecake for you.

Thursday it's Songwriter's Night

Friday Retro Flashback brings the hits. No cover.

Saturday is Market Days, noon to 6, and then Claude Butch Morgan and The Hix at 7. $10 at the door.

Oktober has always been a fun & special month in our house. This month we celebrate one whole year at 282 Main St, three years as The Blue Flame, David's birthday, & of course OKTOBERFEST!

As descendents of German immigrants it's important for us to celebrate our culture, it's vibrancy, & it's impact on this area of Texas.

We're kicking it off this week with a delicious spread of Bavarian cuisine, Shiner B**r Oktoberfest pitcher specials, & a yodelling contest during karaoke on Friday!

We've had a change in our lineup this week. Our planned artist Lisa Beck has unfortunately come down with a case of covid and had to cancel her show with us. We will miss her & wish her a speedy recovery! But have no fear friends! Sarah Silverling is here to save the day! She's a new face to our stage and we are excited to have her!

This week's menu takes us to the land of turquoise & enchantment! Featuring roasted green chilis, braised pork, stacked enchiladas, & sopaipillas! Delish.
