Lyme is the fastest growing vector-borne, infectious disease in the United States. Here in Central New York, Lyme disease awareness is lacking greatly, when it should be a top priority considering the amount of infected ticks, literally, in our own backyards. Walk for Lyme Disease gives CNY the opportunity to learn the reality of tick-borne illnesses, while raising funds for research, awareness and education.
