Hello Winter Wine Walk attendees!
All of us from the Utica Business Association are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday. Here is some important information to know regarding the event. Please share this email with your friends who are attending.
CHECK-IN FRIDAY OR SATURDAY

Early Check-in on 2/13: Skip the lines and check-in the day before the event on Friday, from 1-6 pm. You can pick up your glass, passport, and tasting tickets at the August Hill Winery tasting room at 106 Mill Street, Utica, IL. Additional tasting tickets will also be available for $1.25 each (cash only please). If you ordered t-shirts or hoodies, you can pick them up at Canal Market, 208 S. Clark Street, Utica, IL, during this time period. Then all you have to do is return on Saturday at 11 am to start the fun. Bringing a group? No problem. You can check in your entire group as long as you have a copy of their tickets.

Check-in on 2/14 - the day of the event: Go to the Canal Market, 208 S. Clark St., Utica, and pick up your Winter Wine Walk souvenir glass, passport, and 8 tasting tickets. If you pre-ordered apparel items, they will also be available to pick up at this location (at a separate table). You can also purchase additional tasting tickets when you check-in for $1.25 each (cash only). Check-in officially opens at 11am, but we are aiming to begin checking people in at 10:30 am.
CASH ONLY
We don't have access to credit card machines at early check-in or on the day of the event; therefore, if you wish to purchase additional Tasting Tickets for $1.25 each, please bring cash. ATMs in Utica are located at the bank, Stonehead Leather, Joy & Edโs, and on the corner of Mill Street and Canal Street; there will also be an ATM at the Canal Market (check-in) on the day of the event.
WINTER WEATHER
The Winter Wine Walk will not be cancelled because of snow (or rain). We have our fingers crossed and are praying that the winter weather will get everything out of their system before the event so that you can all make it safely here to enjoy.
COME WHEN YOU LIKE
The beauty of the Winter Wine Walk is that you are on your own schedule. You can come and go from each location as you please and can check in when it is convenient for you. Canโt get here until 2 pm? No problem, weโll still have people at the check in to get you on your way.
BRING YOUR I.D
The wineries will be carding to ensure that all wine tasters are 21+.
HOLD ON TO YOUR CUP
Please make sure you hold on to your official WWW cup during the event. We do not have any extra cups to replace lost or broken cups.
TROLLEY SERVICE
The trolley service, which is sponsored by Starved Rock Lodge, makes it easier for people to get from one end of town to the other (the trolley is enclosed). However, we have found that most of the people still walk (which is how the Winter Wine Walk got its name.) The majority of the tasting stops are within walking distance.
PARKING
Parking is available at the elevator (which is near the check-in area) and near the memorial (corner of Mill and Church). There are also other small lots scattered throughout town and there is quite a bit of street parking available in the downtown area. Please note that Mill Street will be closed off for the event, so your GPS might take you on a bit of a detour.
