Earlier this year, with everything going on, we decided to cancel our annual half marathon. After further reflection, we decided that not even a global pandemic can stop dedicated runners and the 2020 Vir(tu)al Hartselle Half Marathon was born. So now we invite you to race at your own pace in virtually, the best race ever!

And for those who have always wanted to run our race but it was just too hot, too inconvenient or you were just not ready for the full 13.1 miles, now is your chance to earn your own coveted medal and T-shirt or tank!

Simply sign up online and complete 13.1 miles anytime between now and October 31 to earn your medal and completion certificate! You could even register for and run the race on the same day, as our virtual event is open through October 31, 2020.

The Hartselle Kiwanis Club would like to offer our thoughts and prayers to Josh Whitehead and family as he recovers from serious injuries. Josh was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle and is facing a long road to recovery. Josh is an all around great guy has been a regular at our event. He is a tremendous athlete and currently holds our course record. Josh, we are all pulling for you and hope you have a speedy recovery!
