IMPORTANT UPDATE — 2026 CONE DODGING COMEBACK TOUR 🚨

It is with great disappointment that we have to announce that the remainder of the 2026 Darana Heartland Park Cone Dodging Comeback Tour has been CANCELLED.

Due to circumstances affecting the operation of Darana Heartland Motorsports Park, the track is currently closed, and unfortunately, we will not be able to hold our remaining autocross events this season.

We know many of you were excited to get back on track and experience something that hasn't happened in years — autocross on the Heartland Park road course! We were incredibly excited to be part of bringing motorsports back to this legendary facility, and we are deeply disappointed that we won't be able to finish the season as planned.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who supported the series, registered for our events, volunteered their time, and helped us make the Comeback Tour 2026 possible. We especially appreciate your patience and understanding through the changes and challenges we've faced this year.

The track may be closed for now, but we hope this isn't the end of the story. We will continue to monitor the situation and share any updates as they become available.

🚨 UPDATE: WE ARE BACK ON! 🚨

Great news — the Cone Dodging event at Darana - Heartland Motorsports Park is BACK ON for this weekend as originally scheduled!

The track management team successfully worked through the extenuating circumstance, and everything has been resolved. We’re cleared to run and cannot wait to see everyone at the track.

🏁 Event Date: Saturday, June 27

If you are registered, you are good to go — no action needed.

If you had previously canceled your registration due to the postponement and now want back in, please reach out ASAP via MSR and we’ll get you reinstated.

We want to sincerely thank the team at Darana - Heartland Motorsports Park for everything they did behind the scenes to make this possible. Their management team has been outstanding to work with, and we truly appreciate their effort, communication, and support throughout this process.

We know the last couple hours were confusing and frustrating, and we appreciate everyone’s patience more than we can say. Now it’s time to get back to what we came for — cones, speed, and a great day on the road course.

🚨 Darana - Heartland Motorsports Park Cone Dodging Come Back Tour 2026 is officially Open for Registration! 🚨

This isn't your typical autocross.

You'll be attacking cones ON THE ROAD COURSE at Darana - Heartland Motorsports Park, utilizing a portion of the track from the end of the front straight through several sections of the road course to create a fast, flowing, and completely unique autocross experience down through turn 7.

Whether you're chasing season points, looking for extra seat time, or simply want to experience autocross on an actual race track, this series is for you.

Out testing in the dry today. Thank you to Phil Meredith, rick meyers, Ron Williams, Adam Pessetto, and Andrew for coming out and helping setup and getting everything cleaned up in the trailer.

Tried to get some drone footage with WJP Aerial, but we couldn’t get the FAA clearance this time.

Look for registration opening within the next 24 hours.

Big news inbound. We are getting real close to announcing the full season at Darana Heartland Motorsports Park. We were out testing in the rain yesterday and everything is looking great. Need to finish getting a few things together before the announcing the registration opening, but expect that here in the next few days.

I would really like to thank the Kansas Region Board member for coming out yesterday and supporting the setup and testing. Ryan Redenbaugh , Greg Dunham, Frank Wietharn, Adam Pessetto, Tony Votaw , Kevin Lynn , James Cahill. We even had special Guest Alex von Bevern come out to assist, you can thank him for all the photos you will see here. Rick Myers and Andrew from the national from the national office were instrumental in getting this together and helping with logistics as well.

Again, keep an eye out for event series rules and registration opening coming very soon (think June 1st ish).

🚨 SAVE THE DATES — AUTOCROSS AT DREYANA / HEARTLAND MOTORSPORTS PARK! 🚨

We’re excited to announce a BRAND NEW autocross series coming to Heartland Motorsports Park — and this isn’t your typical parking lot autocross…

🏁 We’ll be autocrossing ON THE ROAD COURSE! 🏁

The current plan is to start near Alpha (end of the front straight) and run through to around Turn 7, creating a unique high-speed autocross experience you won’t want to miss.

We’re still working through logistics and final course layouts, so more details are coming soon — but we wanted to get the dates out NOW so everyone can get them on the calendar!

• June 27
• July 25 and/or 26
• August 1
• September 19
• October 17 and/or 18

This is being planned as a SERIES event, not just a regional event. Classing and rules are expected to closely follow the Midiv Solo Series format.

🏆 Season trophies are planned and will be awarded to SCCA members at the end of the season.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience autocross on an actual race track, this is your chance. More information, registration details, and course updates will be released soon.
