REONA TAP is a tap dancer, improviser, designer, choreographer, teacher, and composer based in Tokyo, Japan. She uses metal sheets, chains, steel bowls, plastic bags, and loudspeakers. Reona has performed with many improvisers, dancers, painters, and free jazz musicians. Her sound impulses are directly connected to her legs, and she expresses herself using everything available in her body, including her arms and mouth — making for a one-of-a-kind presence.

JONAS VAN DEN BOSSCHE is a Belgian guitarist now based in the United States, and a quietly pivotal presence in Orlando’s avant-underground. For over three decades he has explored noise, free jazz, and improvised music on guitar, moving fluidly between written songs and open-ended improvisation.

//
OVERTURES AND UNDERTONES is Willie Bess (guitar), Adam Goldman (bass), Pat Greene (violin and percussion), and Erica Greear (audio loops and percussion). They are part band, part art collective and experiment with noisy performative concepts.

Notes: The Dining Room is a performance space in a private home. Please be on time (since we want to start on time). There is ample street parking. There is a cat (who will be in hiding). BYOB and limit smoking to the outdoors. And bring cash! The show is free, but we strongly encourage donations for the performers and buying merch! Thank you!
