Have you preordered yarns before? What was your experience? Good? Bad? How do you feel about preorders? I would love to hear your thoughts.

After 10 years, we’re saying goodbye to our original merino bases: superwash merino and organic non-superwash merino. We know many of you have made so many projects with these yarns over the years, and we don’t take that lightly.

We are making room for our new Serene bases (Sport and Worsted coming soon) which means it is time to retire some of our others. We won’t be stocking any of the Organic Merino or Superwash Merino bases in our studio or online anymore. Although we won’t have these bases online anymore, some wholesale partners will continue to carry these bases.

Thank you DFW Fiber Fest for such a wonderful show. It was our first time in Dallas and it was nothing but kindness and support. We’re so grateful we got to be part of your amazing fiber community. Thank you to everyone who came and said hi. I finally got to meet some of you in person. Your kindness and support is what keeps me going.

We’re at Dallas this weekend. But also remembering Dolly. We are not sure how much more we can add to the conversation around passing of Dolly Parton this week, but it feels too important to not mark what a loss this is. As fellow Tennesseans, we are so proud of how she represented and loved our state. As women and business owners, she inspired us to lead lives with both confidence and kindness. As creatives, she reminded us to be true to ourselves. As people, she showed us how to use our privilege to do the right thing.

To honor her memory, we will donate 10% of our profits over the next week to Dolly’s Imagination Library. We will always love you, Dolly.

Well I booked two shows in one month 😅 and it’s been keeping us more busy than usual. But my only complaint is my tennis elbow that is preventing me from knitting as much as I want. That’s it. I just came here to rant about that. 🤪

Cosmos. The best part of naming our yarns is getting to play with the actual flower. Every three months I get to walk through the floral shop and be happy. 🥰

When I first got married, I told my husband not to waste money on flowers. But wow~ I was so wrong. Plants and flowers are always inspiring me and somehow they kick start something in my brain to be creative.

Next month is fall which means we are heading into busy season. Preorders for Cosmos will be closing soon so if you had a project in mind, start calculating and place your preorders soon.

I’ve hit the ground running as soon as I got back to Nashville. We’re heading to Dallas at the end of the month. It’s our first time at DFW Fiber Fest and we’re working super hard getting ready. Excited to the beautiful city of Dallas and meeting everyone in person. 🩷

Do you ever get those eye opening moment where you catch yourself doing the opposite of what you believe or tell others? I’m always trying to be nice and kind to others while I’m being so mean and horrible to myself. 😔
