I love this combo! The cheese slicer is maple, purpleheart, and yellowheart woods. And of course a couple matching roux spoons. I’m really liking these vibrant exotic wood.

Something about this wood combo that I love! This one is a big 15x25” brisket sized cutting board. I really like how the stark contrast came out between the pale maple and the reddish padauk. And the medium brown mahogany is always a classic.

In order: Cherry, hard maple, purpleheart, flamed maple, spalted maple, yellowheart, padauk.

Cheese slicer drop 😁

I made 18 cheese slicers this batch - only 2 of each type! (4 of the LSU themed ones). These are mixed domestic and exotic woods. NO stains or dyes, just vibrant naturally colored woods! These are 6”x11” and are perfect for slicing any cheeses. $45 each and that includes free laser engraving. And I do ship.

Get them before I bring them to the farmers market and the MoonPie festival.

Spray day! I’m working on a large 14ft desk that features two base cabinets and countertops with a large open area for a counter in the middle. Primer coat is on and lookin good 😎

Here I’m explaining wood movement and using a Festool Domino to cut slots for Z-clip hardware. The purpose is to allow for the seasonal expansion and contraction of a solid maple countertop.
