Get ready for some dirt flying action! 🐎💨

The Michigan Reining Horse Association "Slide In" is officially back at the Midland County Fairgrounds! Today is warm up day as riders and their horses get settled and ready for a weekend of incredible competition.

The main show kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, and runs all the way through Sunday, June 7th. If you’ve never seen a sliding stop in person, you’re in for a treat: there is nothing quite like the power and precision of these reining horses! 🤠✨

We love having the MRHA crew here and can't wait to see the dedication and passion on display in the arena. Whether you're an exhibitor or a fan, come out and enjoy the good vibes and top-tier horsemanship.

📣 Reminder: Fair Week Camping Lottery entries close this Friday, May 29th!

If you are hoping to secure a Fair Week campsite, be sure to get your lottery entry submitted before the deadline.

Please note: our office will be closed this Friday due to the Michigan Antique Festival. Online lottery entries will still be accepted on Friday, however our staff will not be available in the office to answer questions that day.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

At the Midland County Fairgrounds, we are deeply mindful that the freedoms we enjoy, to gather as a community, to celebrate our agricultural heritage, and to watch the next generation of agricultural youth grow, were secured by their courage and dedication. Their sacrifice allows our fields to flourish and our community to thrive.

As you spend the day with family and friends, please join us in a moment of reflection and gratitude for those who gave everything. We are forever grateful.
