So here is one of the pieces that I completed this weekend.
This Seax has an acid etched and stone washed blade. It also has a Bog Oak handle that's 5600 years old from the bogs of Europe. The brass pommel and guard are from another craftsman from Ukraine.
This one will go to Asgardian Armory this coming weekend.

Well I managed to get some Mammoth Ivory.
At present I'm in the process of preparing it for use as knife scales.
Mammoth Ivory can range from 10,000 to 200,000 years old.
This particular ivory is from Alaska, it is roughly 20,000 years old. While it's not a fossil it is considered a sub fossil.
I'll definitely be using some of it on a Seax this year for Asgardian Armory.

So today I got the brass bolsters pinned on the drop point hunter that's getting the 4500 year old Bog Oak.
Both the scales are fitted with the G-flex 2 part epoxy. Tomorrow I'll start the shaping process and hopefully get the handle profile close enough to set the brass pins.

I have to say, this is the first time my handle material came with a certificate of authenticity.
Which will be passed on with the blade.
