Today, Maine is recognized nationally as a leader in organic farming with hundreds of farms and a robust year-round farmers’ market scene.

Every year, the Common Ground Country Fair brings this organic vision to life, creating a unique space where people gather to exchange ideas, learn new skills, and build momentum for lasting change. As we celebrate our 50th annual Fair this year, we are reminded of the incredible power of a community united by shared values.

Your support allows MOFGA to continue this vital work. Make a donation now.

Do you have photos from your time at the Fair… before there were cell phones? Before coffee was allowed? Back when you had to load a canister of film into your camera?

To help us document and celebrate 50 years of the Common Ground Country Fair, we are collecting archival photos of the Fair! Help us out by digitizing your photos and sending them to [email protected] with the subject: Old Fair Photos.

For generations, the Common Ground Country Fair has been a place where knowledge is shared from farmer to farmer, neighbor to neighbor, and elder to youth.

MOFGA helps ensure that the skills needed to grow organic food continue to thrive in Maine.

As we build the next 50 years of Maine’s organic movement, we invite you to join us. Thanks to a generous supporter, every donation right now will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000. Give today and double your impact now.

The Common Ground Country Fair is a celebration of harvest and craft, but it’s also something much deeper: a community built on shared values of care for the land and respect for the farmers who nourish us.

When you support MOFGA, you keep this community thriving year-round. And right now, your impact is doubled! A generous supporter is matching all donations to our spring appeal, dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000.

Help us keep this community strong and give today. Visit https://bit.ly/4byjDZL to donate!
