🌾 Hello to our new followers... and welcome to the Kohl Farms family! 🌾
With fall just around the corner—and so many new faces following our page—we thought this was the perfect time to reintroduce ourselves and share a little about how Kohl Farms came to be.
We're the Kohl family – Ryan, Mandy, Mason & Maks, and we're proud to be a third-generation family farm that's now growing into its fourth generation.
For many years, our family focused on cash crop farming (still do!) while also owning and operating the Dairy Barn in Sebewaing. Several years ago, we made the difficult decision to sell the restaurant so we could fully invest our hearts and resources into building Kohl Farms into the farm and agritourism destination we had always envisioned.
That dream has become so much more than we ever imagined.
Today, each season brings something different—from the cash crops to Fall Family Fun with pumpkins, corn maze, hayrides, c***r, donuts, and live entertainment. At Christmas, the farm transforms once again with fresh greenery, décor, and holiday traditions. Every year, we try to add new experiences while staying true to our farming roots.
Behind every event rental, concert, and pumpkin is a family that wears a lot of hats. You'll find us planting, building, fixing equipment, greeting guests, setting up events, cooking food, cleaning up, and doing whatever needs to be done every day. It's truly a family effort.
But the truth is, we could NEVER do it alone. We have been blessed with an incredible team of employees who care deeply about our guests and our farm. Whether you see them helping in the fields, serving food, driving tractor rides, working events, or greeting you with a smile, they are a HUGE part of the Kohl Farms experience. We simply wouldn't be where we are today without their hard work, dedication, and commitment, and we are incredibly grateful for each one of them.
Our mission has never simply been to grow crops or host events. It's to create a place where people can slow down, spend time together, and make memories that become family traditions for years to come.
To everyone who has supported us over the years—and to those who have just recently joined us—THANK YOU. Your encouragement allows us to keep dreaming, growing, and investing in this little corner of Michigan.
