West Virginia has something special with SEKURA

Rich, textured soundscapes are perfectly complimented by aggressive mechanical breakdowns on layered songs which balance cinematic width and the “need to move” drive of good hip hop.

From her first mixing in 2016 to taking on a performing name three years later, Sekura has made her penchant for genre-defying earworms a primary factor in her identity. Expect well-curated vocal samples, seamless shifts from one song to the next, and beautiful texturing with a scrappy rap heartbeat holding it together (check out a tasty recent mix here: https://m.soundcloud.com/whitney-marie-wayne/01-rec-2026-06-11)

Her dedication to her craft has made her a standout in more than just her local scene. Opening for acts such as Funtcase, Shee, Superfuture, King Joe, Tynan, and Dubloadz and making memorable showings at regional festivals, her ability to weave melody and explosivity never fails to captivate and win a new audience.

What you see above is just a peek into a Sekura show. Right now she is hard at work in the studio, and in TWO WEEKS EXACTLY will be dropping her full set from the mountain on all platforms.

Stay tuned and make it to the next show!

The mountains are still wubbing ⛰️🔊

We’re still thinking about the amazing artists who came through Nightfall Ridge and kept the whole mountain wubbing all weekend long.

From the first drop to the final set, every artist brought their own energy to the mountain and helped make this year of Mountain Wubz what it was.

Here’s a few moments from behind the decks, because some sets end when the music stops and some keep echoing through the mountain long after everyone goes home. We can’t wait to do it again.

Which set you still thinking about? 👀
