Meet Richard Bowman, 2023 Heritage Award Recipient

Richard Bowman, a champion old-time fiddler, lives in Mount Airy, North Carolina, where the old-time music and dance community is thriving. Bowman learned to play the autoharp from his mother and later learned from some of the most influential musicians in the area to play the fiddle.
