So we are still planning on having this event as scheduled. We will meet in doors so everyone stays warm and dry until go time & we will return to a nice warm building for awards & prize drawings. If we don't get the break in rain we are hoping for at 8am we have a back up plan to do the drawing 1st & then hope for a break and a possible late start.

Our prizes have been purchased. Remember pre-registered runners will get 2 entries into the drawings so double your chance to take home something cool. This year we have 4 Dick's Sporting Goods gift cards, those seem to be a favorite.

Funny story......... I was checking my to do list last week and making sure everything was ready to go for the race and realized that I had forgotten a very important something. Thank you so much to Coleen's Trophies & Gifts in Garden City for coming through for me. We now have our 2021 medals (as of today). Yikes, that was close.

We're just shy of 2 weeks away from our race day. For those of you that have run this before you'll remember that at the end of each of our races we do giveaways. We always have some cool stuff including gift cards!!!!! So you're bib has a tear off that gets every runner into the drawing BUUUUUUUUT if you are a pre-registered runner & have gone to runsignup.com and gotten entered we will give you an additional entry.

Our shirt proofs came in!!!!!! We decided this year to do our shirts in red, white and blue. A nod to what Memorial Day is all about. Thankful for the service men and women who fought and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I had the honor of knowing 2 great men who were willing to serve and sacrifice but luckily came home to thier families.
