Recap time! Congratulations to Jumpstart committee Vice Chair and coach of the Graham Park step team Jamila Easter , for her team taking home 2nd place at the recent step up and show out step competition in the middle school division. Aside from day to day nail business operations, The Graham Park Pressure Steppers are a group of young and diverse middle school students ranging of grade levels 6th-8th. While this team has been rebuilding over the past few months, these steppers make sure to bring all the fun and innovation to each routine with the coaching of former step team member Coach Jamila. GP YOU KNOWWWWWW!! 🦁💙

Recap time! Congrats & the team for a spectacular fashion show this past March. What began as a vision quickly became a defining moment for the community.

Led by the Chair of the Jumpstart committee, the Unfiltered Fashion Show was independently produced to create space, real, intentional space for emerging designers, models, and creatives to be seen, heard, and respected. This wasn’t just about fashion. It was about ownership, access, and rewriting what opportunities can look like when we build them ourselves.

The result? A runway filled with raw expression, diverse perspectives, and undeniable talent.

Unfiltered proved that you don’t have to wait for a seat at the table, you can build your own and invite others to grow with you.

This is what Jumpstart stands for. And we’re just getting started.
