It is with the deepest regrets that we announce passing of our very own Maven Lore King of The vampire Court of New Orleans.
Life has kept us all in active on this page and unfortunately we were never able to re establish our court as our King had truly dreamed.
But his memory and life’s mission of unity and community will live on in every member of our subculture he met.

Maven was the original Fangsmith, creating beautiful works of art for his customers to help them feel closer to their Creature of the Night nature.

He DJ’d at many of the community courts’ events. Attended many meetings and balls.
He hosted several community leader groups and chats. He had so much love for our community and our city.
He was a brother, a father, a lover, mentor, and so much more to a lot of us in this community. The news of his passing has affected us all.

His family is raising fund to bury him as he would have wanted in a New Orleans cemetery in a New Orleans tradition. Even if you can’t donate please share the link.

Hail Lore, Hail Sahjaza, Hail the Travel, Hail the King. Forever in eternal night
