Fiesta & Cowboy Gathering The Fiesta and Cowboy Gathering is a traditional ranch style, big loop scored roping. September 9, 10, 11. Roping on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There will be four events held over three days which includes Stockhorse, Tie Down Roping, Three Man Doctoring, The Wild Card Event & blanket roping.

We are so excited to welcome Hotwire Mohair as one of our vendors at Fiesta this year. Lindsey creates some fantastic pieces and will even do custom cinches! Be sure to swing by her booth at the event this year.

Hi! I am Lindsey, the founder and creator of Hotwire Mohair. I am a lifelong avid equestrian with numerous equine interests, including mohair cinches and accessories. I have always been creative and crafty, so combining these interests has proven to be quite engaging. We welcome and appreciate custom order requests. Let's combine beauty and function for your one-of-a-kind mohair wearable piece of art.

Just a couple days left until Fiesta 2025! We wanted to pop the schedule back up here just to make sure you all saw it. Here are a couple other important notes.

FOOD - there will be a food vendor. She takes cash only so please be prepared. It'll be worth it!

COMPETITION STARTS - Friday at noon.

COWBOY GEAR TRADE - Friday night along with some yummy dutch oven desserts.

POTLUCK - Saturday night followed by cowboy poetry and "campfire"

STOCKHORSE - Satruday morning

COWBOY CHURCH - Sunday morning

VENDORS - there will be a few vendors onsite so come prepared to shop and enjoy some wonderful additions to our event.

Most of all, we can't wait to spend some time with you! See you on Friday at the Wasco County Fairgrounds, Tygh Valley, OR.

We will have a food vendor!!!!! We are excited to have Cowgirl Cafe at Fiesta this year. Please bring CASH! She won’t have a card reader.

She will also have gluten free wraps.

Oh, the kids! ❤️ We love teaching and sharing the traditions of ranch roping with the next generation. While the adults dive into serious competition, Fiesta 2025 encourages kids to join in with their own classes.

From live heels to roping dummy and mounted dummy roping, these events give kids a fun and safe chance to test their skills and prepare for future ranch ropings. Even better, many of these kids form lifelong friendships, looking forward each year to their own “ranch roping family reunion.”

Fiesta 2025 has a jam-packed lineup of kids' events that will keep the little cowboys and cowgirls entertained all weekend long!

Dummy Roping: A fun and safe way for younger participants to practice their roping skills without the pressure of live animals. Perfect for all ages!

Mounted Dummy Roping: A great way for kids to practice roping while mounted on their horse, mimicking the real roping experience in a safe and fun environment.

Live Heels: A thrilling challenge where kids try their hand at roping the heels of a live steer, experiencing a real cowboy skill firsthand.

These events are designed to introduce kids to the excitement of ranch life and roping in a fun, hands-on way. Whether they’re just starting out or already roping pros, there’s plenty to keep them engaged and having fun!

Safety First at Fiesta 2025
At Fiesta 2025, safety is our top priority. As a family-friendly event, we want everyone—whether you're participating or spectating—to have a fun and safe experience.

Here are a few safety reminders for all participants:

Always maintain control of your horse—whether you’re riding in the arena or walking through the grounds.

Be mindful of other participants and spectators—safety is a shared responsibility, so keep an eye out for others, especially around horses.

Follow all event staff instructions to ensure the safety of both you and your equine partner.

If you're new to the event, or have young riders with you, be sure to review safety protocols and ask event staff if you have any questions.

Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited and any use will result in immediate removal from the event with no refund of entry fees.

Let’s work together to keep Fiesta 2025 a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone! We can’t wait to see you at the Wasco County Fairgrounds from September 5-7, 2025.
