Sunday, September 27th at the Lake County Fairgrounds.

We ♥️ that we can help support our community and other non-profits in the area!

The Lake County Humane Society is hosting its annual Bev Bright Memorial Pet Walk on Sunday, September 27th, at 1:00 PM at the Two Harbors Fairgrounds. As the shelter’s biggest fundraiser of the year, now is the time to start collecting pledges from friends, family, and neighbors.

With over 100 people and dogs participating annually, the shelter hopes to make this year’s walk the most successful yet. The proceeds go directly toward caring for lost, abandoned, and homeless animals in Lake County.

The operations rely heavily on the staff members and volunteers. Their dedicated hard work even resulted in a completely empty shelter for a full day last year. What a remarkable milestone worth celebrating.

How Can You Get Involved?
• Donate Raffle Prizes: Local businesses interested in contributing items to the raffle baskets can call 218-834-5806.
• Donate Shelter Supplies: Check the shelter’s page for their ongoing wish list. Donations can be dropped off at 415 20th Ave, Two Harbors, MN 55616.
• Adopt: Kitten season is right around the corner. View adoptable pets anytime at lakecountyhumanesociety.org or visit their page.
