First Friday June 5th 🎨✨ Welcome back for First Friday! Looking to keep it local on Friday, June 5th? We've got you covered.
First Friday is spearheaded by local businesses, bringing the downtown community together and offering an opportunity to see the best of Turners Falls. Events take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the first Friday of every month.

Turners Falls Chalk Walk
Avenue A / Spinner Park
4:30 - 8:00 p.m.
A free community event to showcase your chalk artistry! Fill up the Avenue A sidewalks with chalk doodles, and stop by Spinner Park starting at 4:30 p.m. if you’d like to join the competition.
Two Ghosts Mini Chalk Competition
4 - 8 p.m.
Stop by Two Ghosts Vinyl Cafe to draw your best version of “Two Ghosts” in chalk on the sidewalk for a chance to have your design featured on a t-shirt!
First Fridays at the Brick House
Doors 6 p.m., Music 6:30 p.m.
MATTHEW THORNTON / ADAM BOSSE, BRIAN GIBSON & DAKOTA GIL / SLEEP DESTROYER Free. All ages. Donations split 50/50 between the performers and the Brick House. Sponsored by the Brick House with grants from the Montague Cultural Council and RiverCulture.
First Friday: Turners Falls Brick-by-Brick Tour
Great Falls Discovery Center
4 - 5:30 p.m.
Under every cornice is a building with a story. This First Friday, learn about the brickmakers, builders and businesses behind the designs of the village blocks. Meet DCR staff outside the Great Hall for a 1.2-mile guided walk through downtown Turners Falls. Ages 8 and up.
