Elvis Fling with the King Tournament

Sadly, the Fling with the King Tournament has deteriorated since the current organizers took it over 2-3 years ago.
What used to be a fun tournament, inexpensive and open to anyone who wanted to participate and unique and outstanding course layouts has become a an expensive event designed exclusicely for PDGA players only. It seems this year's event does not even offer a custom Elvis disc, a "King" hole, Elvis T-shirt, Elvis trophies, or much of anything original proposed for the event.

It seems the disc golf Gods are against the Elvis tournament. Sadly, there will be no custom disc for Fling with the King for 2021. It seems an actual tournament is likely not to happen either, but possibly another event later in the month.

I know not the reasoning of this decision. Maybe it's left over from COVID or just tardiness of the director. Whatever the case, the events had a good run and hopefully will return in the future!

Sadly, Fling with the King 2020 will not be held due to the COVID-19 situation. Whether it is canceled entirely or postponed will be decided by the Tupelo Disc Golf Association.

At present, no EFWK 2020 custom disc has been ordered. There is artwork available should the tournament proceed at a later date.

We will update any news regarding this year's tournament as we learn new information.

Hope all are staying safe and handling the virus guidelines the best one can.
