Tupelo Film Festival One of Livability.com's 10 BEST SMALL TOWN FESTIVALS! April 20 - 22, 2017. Celebrating our 14th year. We will have two screens showing films.

The festival is held at Malco Theatre near the Mall at Barnes Crossing. Lots of other activities to be announced. Mark your calendar to join the fun.

In conjunction with our community partners, sponsors, and fellow advocates, we will be hosting the Emmett Till 68th Anniversary Commemoration Weekend, geared towards honoring the life and legacy of Emmett Louis Till and educating attendees about the importance of keeping Emmett’s undeniable true story alive, learning about the courage of his mother, his place, impact, and influences on American history and our lives today.

The Weekend will consist of…
🌟 A PRIVATE SCREENING — there will be a private screening of the movie “TILL”, where attendees and invited guests will have the opportunity to screen the movie and engage in an interactive Q&A sessions with family members, members of the cast, and guests. (August 25)

🌟 LEGACY TOUR — The TILL Trail of Tears, Terror, and Truth Educational Tour will take students and attendees to HISTORIC LOCATIONS in the MS delta, iconic to Emmett Till’s journey, the trial, and timeline in history today. (August 26th)

🌟 DAY OF WORSHIP — The day of worship will honor the life, legacy, and COURAGEOUS strides towards justice by Ms. Mamie Till Mobley at a church of communal impact. (August 27th)
