Another 101 is in the books!! Two tables of mother daughter duos plus friends makes for a fun (and slightly competitive🫣) night! This is what mahjong is about.. bringing generations of friends and family together to laugh, swap jokers, and spend time around the table together! 💙

Your investment in local entrepreneurs and small businesses is making a lasting impact on our community, and we are so thankful to have been part of this experience.

A very special thank you goes to Wayne Dennis, Gina King, and Jeremy Martin with RCLF. The countless hours you invested in helping us develop, refine, and strengthen our pitch were invaluable. Your guidance, wisdom, encouragement, and belief in our vision helped shape not only our presentation, but our business. We truly felt like winners long before we ever stepped onto that stage because of your support.

And finally, thank you to our amazing family, friends, Founders, members, customers, and supporters who came out to cheer us on. Your encouragement, prayers, messages, and belief in The Mahj Parlour mean the world to us. Seeing so many people rally behind our dream was incredibly humbling.

This experience has been about so much more than a competition. It has reminded us how blessed we are to be part of a community that supports one another and celebrates big dreams.

The Parlour Spotlight:
Meet Lee Brooks Murphree!

When Lee first walked through the doors of The Mahj Parlour, she wasn’t just looking to learn Mahjong. She was looking for something many of us are searching for—community and connection.

By her own admission, Lee is very shy. In fact, her husband was surprised she found the courage to come in by herself. But she did.

And we’re so glad she did.🤗

What started as a leap of faith has turned into something special. Lee has found friendships, laughter, and a place where she feels at home. Even better, her family has joined in on the fun. Her children now come to the Parlour, and together they’ve fallen in love with this wonderful game.

One of our favorite things about Mahjong is that it’s never really just about the tiles. It’s about the people around the table.

We’re honored that Lee chose to take a chance on us, and we’re even more honored that The Mahj Parlour has become a place she and her family call home.🩷
