The horse industry lost a legend last night, but Heaven gained a champion! My dad, Ronnie Fisher, passed away June 24. He was surrounded by his immediate family, including his mom.

We will have a celebration of life at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy, AR this Sunday, June 30th at 2 pm. All are invited to attend.

Please feel free to send your favorite stories about dad. I’d love to compile into a book at some point, so funny is also appreciated and appropriate. Thanks in advance.

Attention fellow horse showing enthusiasts: I am excited to announce Fisher Horse Shows has partnered with two great organizations in 2016 to add a little excitement to our shows. Our April show will be managed by the Arkansas QHA and the September show will be managed by the MidSouth QHA. Both associations are heavily committed to bringing the best show experience to the exhibitors and should not disappoint! Please favorite their sites to get the most up-to-date info on the shows. Keep in mind both groups offer other outstanding events throughout the year so add all their shows to your calendars!!

There is still plenty of time to make plans to attend my show in Tunica this weekend. Great prizes for circuit champions in all divisions! Cool neck ribbons to awarded in the novice classes.

Horse show update:

I have added an extra class that I accidentally left off:

Small Fry Equitation.

Also, I made a change to the Western Riding pattern as my original green pattern does not exist. We are now using Green #4 and Open #4 for both patterns.

Stall counts are rolling in! If you haven't sent me your numbers, please do! :)

Attention exhibitors! I have added a practice class to follow Sr. Pleasure to allow those of you who need a training opportunity in the arena. This also serves to give the English exhibitors a bit longer to get ready. Both suggestions came from YOU, the exhibitor, and I listened!! I just ordered the novice circuit awards and high point prizes. Don't miss this show! We are offering a new, novice friendly schedule and making this event about the novice exhibitor.

Also, we have added color pleasure classes!

My next show will be Sep 26-27 in Tunica. The schedule will be posted soon. I have changed the format to make it more friendly for all exhibitors and allow time to have some FUN! I will be adding a few new features for this show as well! Please add this to your calendars! Thanks!
