SWEET LESSONS & EVEN SWEETER MEMORIES! 👨🏽‍🍳🍫

Our Simply DeLish Culinary Students got their hands a little floury and their creativity flowing as they learned how to make homemade chocolate cookies completely from scratch! 🍪❤️

From measuring ingredients and mixing the perfect dough to learning baking techniques, our junior chefs put their skills to the test!

And let’s just say… the cookies were SO GOOD, our Union students didn’t want to share cookies 🤣🤣🤣🤣 We might have to add a lesson on sharing next week! …Not our Tulsa Honors Academy students because they were so very generous with their cookies! They set aside many for their teachers and kept only a handful for themselves. 🥹❤️🥹🍪

But that’s what we LOVE to see! Students learning new skills, building confidence, having fun, and enjoying the delicious rewards of their hard work.

At Simply DeLish, we’re doing more than teaching recipes. We’re building future chefs, creating opportunities, and making memories—one delicious lesson at a time! ❤️

What a weekend for the Simply DeLish family! ❤️ We had the honor of celebrating TWO beautiful weddings, and while every wedding we cater holds a special place in our hearts, this weekend hit a little differently.

Our very own Alycia Ripperger firstborn — who has always felt like our first son — married his beautiful bride, Kennady! 🥹❤️

There’s something incredibly special about watching someone you’ve watched grow up step into a new chapter of life. To not only witness this moment, but to have Simply DeLish be part of their wedding celebration, was truly an honor.

Kennady, welcome to the family! 💕 And to the newlyweds, may your marriage be filled with friendship, laughter, patience, grace, good food, and a lifetime of choosing one another.

Our exceptionally talented Pastry Chef Almira truly outdid herself with this gorgeous assortment of Chantilly Cream Cakes created for the Iron Gate Tulsa!

From Strawberry Kiwi 🍓🥝 to Banana Cream 🍌, decadent Tiramisu ☕️, and even more delicious creations, every cake was made with layers of flavor, beautiful presentation, and that special Simply DeLish touch.

Because when you’re serving an incredible cause, dessert deserves to be just as memorable. ❤️

Tomorrow, some of our Simply DeLish culinary students are stepping out of the classroom and into a REAL culinary experience as we prepare to welcome more than 450 guests at Iron Gate’s nonprofit rooftop event!

This is an opportunity for our students to use what they’re learning to serve an amazing cause, gain hands-on experience, work alongside culinary professionals, and see what it takes to prepare for a large-scale event.

And today’s lesson? 🥔🔥 REAL POTATO CHIPS FROM SCRATCH!

Our students learned how to take fresh potatoes and turn them into crispy, golden homemade chips—because even something as simple as a potato can become something special when you understand technique.

One of the best parts of these experiences is being out in our community, seeing familiar faces, reconnecting with people who support our mission, and introducing our Junior Chefs to the people who continue to pour into Tulsa. 💚

Tomorrow they’ll put those skills to work for 450+ guests, and we couldn’t be more excited for them to experience what it means to cook with purpose.

💍✨ Last Weekend Was Simply… DeLish! ✨💍

What a beautiful wedding weekend! 🤍 We had the absolute pleasure of serving a lovely couple for both their rehearsal dinner and their wedding celebration, and every detail felt like something out of a storybook. Chef’s kiss 👩🏾‍🍳

From the sweetest donut wall declaring “How Sweet It Is to Be Loved By You” 🍩💕 to an elegant brunch-style dinner complete with mimosas 🥂, this celebration was filled with personality, beauty, and LOVE.

And the venue?! Absolutely breathtaking. The scenery, the florals, the intimate details—it was magnificently majestic. But even that gorgeous backdrop couldn’t outshine the bride. 👰🏼✨ She was simply stunning.

There’s something incredibly special about being invited into a couple’s wedding weekend—not just to prepare the food, but to help create the moments their family and friends will remember.
