We thought it’d be fun to do a little side-by-side comparison of our Oklahoma Centennial project from 2007!

As we kick off Route 66’s Centennial celebration year, it’s exciting to look back at another milestone that brought our community together nearly two decades ago.

Here at the Route 66 Village and Redfork Depot, we celebrate Oklahoma, West Tulsa, and Route 66 every day! From our historic Frisco Meteor locomotive to the tallest oil derrick in North America, there’s no place quite like it.

And we’re not done yet! Soon, this iconic oil derrick will be illuminated with color-changing lights, and we’ll once again have oil “gushing” from the top, bringing another piece of Oklahoma’s petroleum history to life for visitors.

We’d love to have you celebrate with us too. Whether you’re planning a community gathering, corporate event, reunion, wedding, or special occasion, the Route 66 Historical Village offers a truly unique Oklahoma experience.

Our hearts are singing! Thank you City of Tulsa Gov for your help and confidence in us. We believe the best place to welcome people to Tulsa is from our slice of Route 66. This is such meaningful validation of the work we’ve been doing and the love we have for our great city.
