We were treated to a small excursion to the Alentejo (sp?) area by the gracious Christine Pinto. Where we were introduced to the Portuguese Olympic Rider João Torrão. He showed us a lovely stallion he has in training for dressage. Well mannered and correctly schooled. Summer was delighted to give him a try as well. Saw some nice young horses as well. I was very impressed by Joao’s riding and feel for the horse.

Summer had a good riding practice with Ellie Stine Masek today. She is riding numerous horses each week, approximately 7-10 hours of saddle time to stay on top of her game in preparation for Portugal. The connection and balance continues to improve.

We have about 90% of the funding we need for going to the world championship. We still have some ring ra ff Le tickets to sell, shirts for sale and the go fund me is accepting donations.
