Before the Mercado District became what it is today, it started here.🌱

Founded by Gadsden Company, Mercado San Agustín began with a vision from Kira Dixon-Weinstein, Adam Weinstein, and Jerry Dixon. Alongside Marjorie Dixon and original tenants Ahydee Alamazán from and Marta and Isabel Montaño from , they reflect on the beginnings of the Mercado, the memories made here, and the community that shaped it along the way.

Come celebrate the very beginning.🎈

Mercado San Agustín turns 15, and we’re honoring the space, people, and memories that built it. Founded by Gadsden Company, Kira Dixon-Weinstein, Adam Weinstein, and Gerald “Jerry” Dixon in 2011, Mercado San Agustín began with its first tenants, Dolce Pastello Cakes and La Estrella Bakery. From there, the Mercado District grew into what we know today.

Spend the evening with us on Friday, May 8th with special shopping and dining deals, live music by and , and remarks by Mayor Regina Romero and Vice Mayor Lane Santa Cruz as we celebrate this milestone.

Here’s to 15 years and many more to come.⭐️
