🌵 Thank You, Tucson! 🌈
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who made OutWest such an incredible success.
The overwhelming support, kind messages, photos, and positive feedback, have been nothing short of amazing. Seeing our community come together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories is exactly why OutWest was created.
We’re also excited to share that one of our biggest goals was for the event to be financially self-sustaining—and we’re proud to announce that OutWest successfully paid for itself, finishing with a positive balance of $16.47. Every dollar went directly toward producing the event, and we’re grateful that, together, we achieved that goal. As for where the money went. The money did not go into a Bisbee pride account. We did not have access to it. The proceeds from OUTWEST went directly to cover the event.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible vendors, sponsors, community partners, volunteers, entertainers, staff, Historic Old Tucson, and every single person who attended. You are the reason OutWest came to life, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
We also want to address questions we’ve received regarding C.A.R.E. C.A.R.E. is a small growing group working to become its own. We are dedicated to serving and supporting our community. While C.A.R.E. previously has operated under the fiscal sponsorship of Bisbee Pride Inc., at this point it is no longer affiliated with or operating under Bisbee Pride. We have spoken with the Bisbee Pride Board and wish them nothing but success. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on serving Tucson and Southern Arizona, and we are actively working alongside local Tucson nonprofit organizations in the heart of Tucson to strengthen that mission.
Thank you again for believing in OutWest, for supporting one another, and for helping make this celebration so special. Your encouragement means the world to us.
