Chapel + Cultural Center A multipurpose performing arts and worship space serving the educational, cultural, social, and spiritual needs of RPI and the surrounding Troy community.

The Chapel + Cultural Center (C+CC) is a multi-purpose performing arts and spiritual center located on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, New York. It is owned and operated by the Rensselaer Newman Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational corporation. Since opening in 1968, the C+CC has presented an ongoing, ambitious series of exhibitions, performances and lectures

documenting the full breadth of artistic, academic and religious experience. The C+CC provides a home for worship, meditation and cultural activities, while contributing to the continuing education of students and our neighbors throughout the Capital Region. While serving as home to the Catholic community at RPI, the C+CC is open to all religious groups for worship, study and services. The C+CC offers cultural events throughout the year, embracing both the visual and performing arts. Lectures, films and discussions offer regular opportunities for exploration of topics both timeless and timely. Programs are open to the general public.
