Looking at predicted all day rain, Saturday, April 4th. I will be available from 9am to 5pm for batting or pitching lessons. Need a tune up, contact me at 937-474-9093 too schedule a time. Fees are still $40 per half hour or $70 for an hour.

HERE are my current open slots for lessons. Sundays: 8am, 8:30, 1:30, 2:30,
Mondays: 6pm 6:30
Tuesdays: 3pm, 3:30, 5pm, 5:30, 8:30
Wednesdays: 3pm,
Thursdays: 3:30, 7:30,
NO LESSONS on FRIDAYS
Saturdays: 12:30 , 2:30, 3pm, Contact: Coach Brown call/ text 937-474-9093 Fees are $40 per half hour ..... or $70 per hour (save $10). We use Stalker Radar, V1Pro video analysis, Rapsodo, and many other great pitching and hitting aids. We do not use batting tees or soft toss to train hitters..... everything is appropriate game speed for there age group. Train like you will play, on game day.

Ohio Baseball lost a special legend in the coaching ranks. John Cannizzaro was one the best HS Baseball coaches who took Newark Catholic to 7 OHSAA championships. I had the great honor to have known him for over 30 years. A gentleman, a tough competitor and everyone’s friend. None better! God bless this man.

Sept. 3rd DEAD LINE fast approaching
The Frosty Brown Fall Batting League is accepting registrations for this fall. 30 years serving youngsters
in the Dayton - Springfield area. Put fun back into baseball.
The Original FBFBL (13-18 yr olds) begins Wed. Sept 6th ….. through Oct. 12. Fee $125 per player.
3 or 4 games per week (Mondays- Thursdays) 9 inning games All games at Duke Park Legion Fd.
The Jr FBFBL (9-12 yr olds) begins Sat.Sept 9th. through Oct. 14th. Fees are $100 per player.
2 Games each Sat. Games at Duke Park Softball Fields. 7 Inning games.

I want to compliment everyone involved with Saturday night's Greater Dayton Baseball Hall of Fame Induction. Jeff Klepacz, and his crew put on a wonderful evening. Congratulations to the 7 inductees: Jim Johnson, Pat Reid, Mark Tindall, Carl Stermer, Scott Vagedes, Bob Juliano , Sr and Jeff Greene. All of them, had touched my life over my 53 year career. Some played against my teams, 2 umpired in our games and 2 actually played for me. Scott Vagedes was on the 1st team, I ever coached back in 1970 and Jeff Greene spent 7 seasons with me. Jeff Klepacz surprised everyone, with a tribute to Jeff Greene, who not only played pro baseball but was in the classic baseball movie BULL DURHAM. Klepacz actually convinced Kevin Costner to do a special introduction for Jeff's induction. Impressive!

2023 TROY POST 43 LEGENDS BASEBALL TRYOUTS at Duke Park (1670 Troy Sidney Rd. Troy, Oh. Dates: July 27 (W), July 30 (Sat), July 31 (Sun) & Aug. 3 (W). We have a 55 yr tradition of helping aspiring Troy area baseball players pursue their dreams. We compete in travel ball tournaments, and are affiliated with the 2 oldest national organizations (Legion Baseball and NABF), so that we can also compete for state and national titles. Do it all. Looking for committed baseball players who love the game. Reasonable fees...lot's of exposure.

The purpose of Troy Post 43 Baseball is to provide aspiring high school age baseball players, with valuable exposure to college and professional scouts to help them pursue their educational and baseball dreams.
