The fair site is officially closed and been sold. I wish I could have saved it but the legal forces and lack of community support were.just to big for me and my lawyers. The question now is what to do with this page. Does anyone want to keep it as an open forum for former fans and friends of Four Winds or shall I close this chapter of my life forever?

Who is meeting me at Golden China in Whitehouse tomorrow for the Bernie Sanders podcast at 4:00. Golden China is an excellent dining/meeting place with Marvelous Sushi and traditional Asian Fare. I hope to see a big turn out. Our community desperately needs to become a united front protecting all the diverse people's of East Texas, rights and values. No matter how you've voted in the past or what party you promote. You are welcome to meet and eat with us as we struggle to find the common ground between all East Texans and Americans. It all begins with a majority of our neighbors voting and the cosciensious discussion of our values and the candidates most likely to stand with our community and not be drawn into the selfish, self serving beltway politics of Washington D.C. I'll see you there!

I have some antique furniture from. The French Palace at the faire that I would like to sell. The total cost was around $10,000.00 originally and most is in exquisite condition. The buffet, full length mirror, hand carved desert cart, and hand carved swan Chase lounge are a set and we're originally bought for $6,500.00. they are cherry wood and in extremely good condition. There is a blemish and some damage to the chase lounge from children jumping on it. It would let the set go for $5000.00. This is a piece of Four Winds History that you could have on your home or Vacation house to remember our twenty year tradition.

Haunts of Four Winds is looking for vendors, performers, characters and volunteers for the 2016 Haunts of Four Winds. This years show will Feature Two Haunted Houses, the Black Forest Trail, Haunted Hay ride, a murder Mystery theater, psychic readers, face painters, A zombie Fun run and a Witches/ Monster Ball and much more. Preliminary auditions and vendor spaces will be available tomorrow from 10 til noon. Future gatherings will be announced.

Hi All, I just wanted to apologise for not opening the last two seasons. When my Mother died on April 12, 2014 it et in motion a series of unforseen events that has monopolized all of my attention for the last two years. My father is moving to a full care facility at the end of this month and I should be off of contant red alert soon.
Now to the future. Four Winds Faire is changing. There are too many Renaissance faires in this demographic to continue a prolonged enggement of nine weeks. I have too much land under development to not have a regular faires season. So, I'm planning to reoutfit every shop and cottage as an artists studio with sales gallery space , kitchen , bath and bedrooms and open for year round tenancy. Lofts will run from $350.00 per month to around $700.00. We will retain the old word atmosphere and landscaping. The site is avalable for weddings, parties weekend weddings withdinners, jousting lessons and archery. Camping will continue to be offered as well as cottage rentals for over night visits. I also plan to have four one weekend renfaire weekends ththrough the year. A spring fest, October fest, midsummer pirate festival once we complete our forty acre lake project, and a witer festival. Four Winds will be opening a winer, mmradery, brewery and I'm looking for investors/ craftsmen we I'll also be open weekends in the evening ith music an full restaurant service once construction is complete.
We have two upcoming events this spring and Fall as the Kigdoms of Amtgard present their coronation and a Banner war. The dates for these Live Action Role play events are June 10- 12 and tenativily October 21. The cost for the Coronation of the Wetlands is $20.00 for the weekend. The cos includes camping and some food. Participants must be prepared to play in the Amtgard style. The site is available to oher LARP and historical reenactment groups such as S.C.A, E.C.S, Adria, Daggerhir, H.F.S, Nero etc... Old West, and Native American groups are welcome as well as we do have a Cherokee city mound o the property. Steampunk enthusiasts also welcome as we hope t offer more events in each of these genre throuh the year.
My hope is to create an independent self sustaining community that is beautiful and attractivattractive to a wide variety of tourists throughout the year. Full moon, metaphysical Drum Circle, bon fire and covered dish meal. This Friday at 7:00. First Full moon of the Age of Aquarius, a blue moon (two full moons in one month), Venus is in retrograde.
The age of Aquarius has been awaited for 2000 years by Gnostics and Maji as the time when all veils will be lifted, an end to tyranny and the dawn of a true age of reason, science, harmony and understanding. Don't believe me listen to the song from the 60's or read the Bible in reference to the last Passover. How will we find the Upper room? No really we just have a Damn good time and hang out. Everyone is welcome!

Knights of Four Winds will be participating in the Joust tournaments at the Sherwood faire the last week end of February and the last weekend of March. If anyone would like to come out and help me condition the horses throughout the next two months I can work with your schedule. See you soon!

I want to thank everyone who came out for the faire reorganization meeting and party. I wish we had more space for everyone. As the weather warms we'll be spending most of our time at the site. I apologise for the standing room only problem. I really enjoyed talking with every one. I think we have a good plan to go on. The food was great and the conversation excellent.
I'm looking forward to kicking off the new Jousting programs and developing guilds and shows with all of our performance artists. The beauty of these changes are the opportunities that we can now take advantage of. Five new Faires in the February April time slot opens up tons of opportunities for a seasoned group of performance companies and guilds as does the film location angle. The support we are gaining from Scarborough faire friends for our September /October dates are truly exciting.
I look forward to working with everyone toward these goals on Saturday mornings. I'm still anxious to talk to everyone who could not make this meeting. Remember there are no small roles.
