Traverse City Festival of Cakes Traverse City Festival of cakes takes place on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013 at The Park Place Hotel.

Our third annual event promises to provide you with a fun and entertaining day. From dozens of cakes created by our local talent to cake decorating demonstrations, a celebrity "decorate-off", door prizes and of course cake & ice cream for your sampling pleasure! Regional cake artists will showcase their talent in six different categories or divisions:
Junior Division
Teen Division
Beginner Divisi

Advanced Division
Professional Division
Sugar Division (cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, etc)
Tasting Division

Traverse City Festival of Cakes will not be scheduled for 2015. We are so sorry for we totally enjoyed putting on this event and was able to help our community with the proceeds. This event has grown to be very large and successful but also requiring many hands. Traverse City Quota is a small group and are working on increasing members. We surely miss this event and all our contestants. Thank You for your participation in the past.

In a decision that was not easily made, we are sorry to announce that Festival of Cakes will not be held in 2014. Our members would like to take a year to grow our resources, and bring back a bigger, better Festival in 2015. Thank you for your continued support of this event, and of Quota of Traverse City.

Evening all! Had a wonderful day at Cake International! Saw some lovely familiar faces and met some great new people too - such a great atmosphere today! Will be back again on Sunday and enjoying a sneaky Spa day tomorrow with my dear friend Mary heehee!
