Last night’s 2nd annual Dixie Strong Arm Contest was a smashing success. Hundreds of spectators and 38 competitors. Thank you everyone for coming out. We look forward to next year!!! This year’s winners are as follows.

To everyone competing in the Dixie Strong Arm Contest this Saturday please be at registration and weigh ins at 4:00 pm and try not to be later than 4:30 pm so we can start on time. The event starts at 6 pm. While you are waiting for the event to begin you can browse the store, grab a beer and food, or visit downtown Travelers Rest which is 5 minutes away.

To all spectators the event will begin at 6 pm. Attendance is free. Beer and food will be available as well as restrooms. This will be a highly competitive and fun event complete with Southern Rock and good old fashioned arm wrestling. We fully expect everyone to be bit rowdy and happy but please respect that families will also be in attendance and the venue will maintain its family friendly atmosphere.

This will be a great time and we can’t wait to see who has the strongest arm in the South!!! We have to give money and trophies to somebody, who will it be???

We’ve just gotten word that the 2nd place winner of last year’s light weight division will not be coming this year due to prior obligations. This is BIG news. This means a whole new stock of champions will have to be crowned because last years 1st place winner is not competing either. 😱 💪. Who will be this year’s winners in our double elimination contest??? Who’s got the strongest arm in the South??? 💰🏆. To be a champion of the Dixie Strong Arm Contest is unlike any other title there is.
