Today we are continuing our celebration of our 2026 graduating class with Andrew Roberts!

Andrew has been dancing with The Nutmeg since he was a young child. He credits this time with teaching him the value of dedication, sharing that “there were times where giving up seemed like the easiest option, but with the support Nutmeg has constantly given me, I am reminded why I love this artform so much.”

“Performing the role of Cavalier in the Nutcracker is something I am especially proud of,” he shares. “As a child, I always looked up to the older boys who performed that role, never expecting myself to reach that point in my training!”

Andrew will soon begin training with the Philadelphia Ballet’s pre-professional division. Join us in congratulating this inspiring young artist!

Today, as part of our ongoing series highlighting our graduating class, we are proud to feature Violet Bleger!

“The Nutmeg helped me see a group of dancers as a team - that no matter if we are in class or rehearsal or onstage we are all supporting each other. Everyone deserves respect, support, and a positive attitude no matter what they are contributing to the group,” she reflects.

This fall, Violet will be attending the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where she intends to pursue a BFA in Dance. Join us in congratulating Violet!

Continuing with our series on our 2026 graduating class, today we are happy to highlight Elise Tappan!

“While at Nutmeg, I learned to love dance the way I loved it when I was just starting out as a child,” she shares. “I learned to put aside a fiercely competitive and anxious approach and find joy in the everyday growth of myself and my friends. Nutmeg taught me patience that lets me love everything I apply myself to.

Elise plans to enroll in clockmaking school in the coming year. We at very proud of your accomplishments!
